In September 2025, the INESC TEC/TEC4SEA research vessel NI Mar Profundo supported a twelve-day campaign whose objective was the acquisition of physical, chemical and biologial oceanographic data. The mission was conducted by IPMA (Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera), within the context of the European Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD). The data were collected in the Lisbon and Sesimbra areas from September 1 to 13, 2025.
