Optical sensor design and characterizations

Design and characterization of optical sensors: dimensioning and implementation of fast prototypes integrating optical sensors, both local and distributed within a certain area or volume, and their performance characterization (key equipment: 3D printer, cut and fusion machines, interrogation units, Braggmeter, and optical spectrum analyzer (OSA));
Production of high precision CO2 and N2 mixtures for testing CO2 sensors in the water column (typically used in aquaculture). Key equipment: high-precision flux controllers calibrated for CO2 and N2).
